Hello I’m Victor Lan. Welcome to my website.
I am running for councillor-at-large and I know that my leadership skills and extensive
experience will make me as asset on PEO Council. Here are some of my highlights:
- An executive at the PEO Scarborough Chapter for over 14 years and have
- served all positions of the board including chair
- An active participant in various chapter committees: government liaison program,
- licensing assistance program, 30 by 30, annual Barbeque and hiking, executive
- search, seminars, licensing presentation ceremony
- Delegate and attendee at various PEO leadership conferences, regional
- congresses, and PEO annual general meetings
- Almost 40 years of professional experience in consulting, construction and
- development, including more than 20 of those years in Ontario
- Member of OSPE (Ontario Society of Professional Engineers)
- Member of CSEA (Canada Structural Engineers Association)
- LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited
- Professional) certified by the Canada Green Building Council
- Member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE)
- A Fellow of Engineers Canada (FEC)
Over these past few years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with PEO
members, head office, PEO Council, elected officials in the provincial government, as
well as the public. I hope I can count on your support and bring my experience and
know-how to council.
